The Software Charity develops software for use by charities to make their lives easier and allow them to focus on what they do best, rather than worrying about IT and all the complications that it brings.

Most charities were started to help make the world a better place. Software can often help on the journey, but developing software that works well can be challenging. Security, compliance, data governance - the list of areas that need expert input is endless.
The Software Charity exists to help address these needs and make best-in-class software products available and affordable for charities and other voluntary organisations.
How we work.
Research
We identify a problem that charities face that can be solved with software through research and collaboration.
Build
We design and build a web-based software application that addresses the problem using best-practice methods.
License
Once it’s ready, we license the software to charities on an affordable monthly subscription basis. This helps fund new software.
